Applied Animal Science (AAS) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal and the official publication of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS). This journal publishes scientific discoveries and applications for the animal sciences and animal production systems. The primary focus is on innovations and technologies that have fairly immediate (or emerging) application in domestic animal agriculture. More fundamental (basic) articles are also welcome if the application to the animal sciences is readily obvious and can be communicated to readers. Types of articles published include reviews, invited reviews, articles from symposia and conferences, original research articles, short communications, and technical notes.
