Dr. Kristin Hales
Kristin Hales, associate editor, is the Thornton Distinguished Chair in the Animal and Food Science Department at Texas Tech University. She received her BS in animal science from Oklahoma State University (2004), MS in animal science from Oklahoma State University (2006), and PhD in animal science from Texas Tech University. She is a nationally recognized expert in ruminant nutrition and beef cattle energetics. Dr. Hales has published more than 67 peer-reviewed manuscripts and was recently awarded the Outstanding Young Researcher Award by the Midwest Section of the American Society of Animal Science.
